Wooden Bridge/ SOOC

Wooden bridge over icy creek in Whitchurch-Stouffville

This photo was taken a week ago so the icy spots may actually be melted now. Our nights have been cold but the days have been, for the most part, above freezing. As you can see, snow still lingers in shady places.

Whitchurch-Stouffville (pronounced Sto-ville) is the town just south of East Gwillimbury on EG's east side. (EG encompasses 92 square miles, so is a BIG town area-wise and has quite a few towns on it's borders.)

Please note: Camera Critters is the post below.

It's that time of year. Spring melt adds to the liquid mix of rising waters.

Some ducks never know enough to come in off the ice.

I bet the scenery from this bridge is beautiful once the snow melts and the leaves and flowers are out.

Hi!
Great Shot! Despite the snow and ice, it's very beautiful there! Looks like a great place for the geese and ducks to take a swim! Have a great day!!

Lovely picture. The static wooden bridage and the live birds. Seems a good combination.

That's a beautiful shot, especially considering it is unprocessed.

Love the turkeys below, too. It's not easy catching one in flight like that.

Wonderful picture. It looks about the same as here, a couple of weeks ago. Mostly, the snow is melted. And today, it's been raining and warmish, so I'll have to go out and see what effect the rain had on the snow.

Have a great week!

Everything is so green and Spring-timey here. It's hard to imagine you're still in all of that snow.
