Fire Over Queensville/ Sky Watch

The sun setting over Queensville (Easy Gwillimbury), Ontario

Still fields and trees, one day this beautiful setting will be covered with subdivisions. Urban sprawl, I'm afraid. York Region, of which East Gwillimbury is a part, is one of the fastest growing areas in North America.

'SHY WATCH?" Typo? I like the shot, regardless.

I feel a little 'shy' myself..
Awesome shot. I hope this beautiful area is NEVER covered with cookie cutter houses. Stop them, EG!!! MB

a shame it will be when it does occur. one of the reasons we moved to virginia was to get away from urban sprawl.

I'd hate to think this beautiful scene would be home to a subdivision in the future.

That's so sad to think that sights like this will give way to houses and pavement!

At first glance, I thought it was real fire. I'm glad it turns out to be a wonderfully beautiful burning sky.
