Super wall. I like the stone standing up on the top layer. Yes it does look pretty cold. MB

It looks very cold! How cold is it?

Doesn't look too menacing in this shot.

What a set up EG. It's perfect! Looks like an invitation from the lake through the open gate. Great stone fence.

I like the way you chose to frame that one.

You know, I look at that lake, and imagine how many myriads of living creatures exist below. As for me, I'm happy to stay dry, indoors, with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. Thanks for braving the chill to bring us nice piccies.

I have seen walls like that before, and just started wondering about why they have been built that way...

Beautiful stone wall. We have lots of stone walls in the Napa Valley and it is fascinating to see how each one is different.

I like that wall -- just think of the time (and talent) it took to build it. The lake looks cold.

That stone wall - and the opening - had a tremendous effect. Simple and elegant.

Beautiful shot. I really like the wall although it would be a bit uncomfortable to sit on while looking at that wonderful lake.

love the subdued color tones and the overall composition of the shot. The wall is stunning. Again--I can see this picture hanging in my home. You should open an etsy shop and sell your prints.

Lovely composition!
Looks cold but the reaching arms of the tree branches and the opening in the stone wall still seem inviting.

Beautiful photo. I suppose you can walk round the lake but outside or within the wall.

Those sharp tips of the rocks must be designed to stop people from sitting or walking on it.

I remember COLD Ontario.

Great shot! I grew up on Lake Erie and that tree reminds me of the view from our front window.

Great shot. You know, at first glance I thought those were birds lined up on top of the brick wall.
