Splish-Splash Wheels/ Ruby Tuesday

Dirty snow, slush and puddles - it's almost spring!

Methinks this car could use a good washing! But can you imagine what the driver would like if he had been riding his/her bike?

Lately, I've seen a few hard-core cyclists out and about. It won't be long now till everyone will be out enjoying he weather. In fact, today is so beautiful that I'm going back outdoors myself. But I'll be back...after I get a good dose of sunshine vitamin D.

I would have enjoyed some of that dirty snow about now. I am not sure that sporing arriving early is a blessing. I even enjoy your dirty snow!

that's one cute little red mini car (that's what we call it when we were young in the 70's), I think there was a movie lately that promoted this type of car (can't remember the title - something about the thief and professional robbery).... the commonwealth game is coming that's probably why there are plenty of biking going round or could be because it's nearly spring there in your neck of the woods, time to enjoy the outdoor at last.

The 'new' Beetle is dirty, true. Have it washed, and it is a fine advertising vehicle. It seems a bit odd that the self reliant bicyclist would need a car to replace pedaling, but the great white north leaves lots of snow on the roads so a car is a nice accessory to have...

I think the driver would look like the pile of snow next to the wall if he rode a bike... :)
God bless you!

Terrific composition! Red car and red building all tied together...they stand out even amidst the slush!

Glad your weather is getting better...our weather's improving, too.

Just be careful out there on your bike - it might still be slippery!

I think the snow fell just to make a brilliant background for your red car!

Your ability to find cheering red outdoors at this time of the year is rare.
When I look outside, I just see snow and gray asphalt.
That red car smiles like 1000 watts.

If that cute, Ruby Red bug had a car wash, I'd want to hug it!

Yes, lovely spring weather, isn't it? I took the opportunity to loosen up the little bits of leftover icy snow in my driveway. Now I'm left with puddles.
I have owned a couple of old style Veedub beetles but not a new one, altho' I did have a new style rental once, and it was lots of fun to drive. Love that grubby red one.

It has been beautiful here today too. I've been inside for most of it, though.

Nice red car!

A cyclist would look pretty muddy I suppose...

Glad you had a gorgeous day, too. You do post a lot of deep, deep winter scenes - I'm happy to hear spring is just around the corner. Those bricks are red, red, red.

My son and husband will be glad to get back to bike riding.

It could do with a little washing....

it's a splash of color among the grays and whites in the background. It does need some washing :)

My RT is here.

Gosh. More snow. Ready to go. I am hopeful our snow that has been here since the first part of December will disappear today.

Great photo, and amazing colour.

Down in TO we hardly had any snow this year :-) I'm glad didn't have to take the shovel out.

Red car, red brick! Perfect.

The old (brick) and the new(car). Nice contrasts in red.
It must be hard to keep a car clean in the snow.

If you think that is bad, you should have seen our Rav4 before Roger washed it. I could not get in and out without getting dirty...unless I was very, very careful. Then yesterday, we got another good layer of dirt started again.
