Coaxing Fido/ Weekend Reflections

Give me the stick, Fido.

For some dogs, part of the game of fetch is to hold onto the stick as long as possible.  This dog was a tease!

I believe the saying is, "who is playing with whom?"

We had a dog like that at work..if you dropped something he would grab it and stand just our of your reach! It would have been funny, if not so frustrating.

Fido got a scarf? Is Fido his name or you just call him that? My daughters had T shirts with Fido.

Cute shot.

Very cute. We have one dog, Josie, who will fetch and return and drop the item and another who will grab and run. Go figure.
I like your shot. MB

This is so familiar - Gus does it to Jenna all the time (but then they are both dogs.) This is the only way Buddy will go in water - if we accompany him! Can't keep the others out . . .

Dogs must get great amusement from the humans reactions.

Wonderful long, coloured reflections! And love the standoff in the water! A great moment! At least to watch anyways!

What a serene place to have some fun, EG. Is his name really Fido? Can't help but think of the cartoon character Fido Dido who was so popular in Asia some years ago. Never mind... Lovely capture.

[And DO come over the big blue sea to see the Wall... just do it Apr/May or Sep/Oct when the weather is kinder. I posted some more images today, but rather different.]

With all the heat we've had I'm tempted to jump in the water but it would distort this nice reflection.

This is so cute EG. Very appropriate for dogs that love to fetch and swim.

I've known some dogs like that. It's like they want you to throw it again but they don't understand they have to let go first. lol
