Fall Colour/ Weekend Reflections

Canal River (I think) south of Severn Falls, Ontario

Not many trees have turned orange and yellow in East Gwillimbury, but some foliage in areas to the north have. This shot was taken late in the day when the water was fairly calm.

Light reflected onto the clouds and then down to the water.

Really gorgeous! Our leaves haven't got much color yet. That shot from yesterday was taken back in Oct 2008. We have been VERY dry here for weeks - so I'm not sure our colors will be very good this year :(

That's a Wow! shot. The trees are only just beginning to turn colour here (UK) but there is a bumper berry crop on everything.

These autumn colors are gorgeous. My daughter lives a bit farther north than me and I saw leaves changing up there last weekend. Ours are not far behind.

So fast, the transition from summer to fall. Ontario is my favorite place for autumn colors with Finland, where I grew up, a very close second.

Paulie said...

Certainly gives you an autumn feeling. Some of our trees have turned also.

Wow, that is something else again! Today, in NYC this is a glorious day but it is still great to see what
others are seeing somewhere else. I doubt if I went to LI I would see anything as rich as this!
