Misty Morn/ Watery Wednesday

Mist on local man-made pond

The early morning light was beautiful yesterday (Monday) and I just had to capture the mist rising off this pond. If I had arrived five minutes earlier it probably would have been even more lovely. NOTE TO SELF: Get up earlier!

Beautiful! Mist is just the perfect subject for landscape shots, and in particular with a light like this.

What a lovely shot of mist over water. So September-y looking, too.

Lorna,

Tuesday it is! But the meme link goes up this afternoon and I like to post my photos in the morning. :)

In Blogland the day is often a day ahead of the rest of the world.

I think this photo is just beautiful. It's hard to believe that the scene could be even more so.

What a beautiful shot!

To answer your question, we move Thursday, and I'm trying not to broadcast it. The house will be empty for 3 weeks. Won't be voting here. Not sure about there, either!!! I have a headache, the frige is clean & empty, clothes packed, cats are weird, losing Internet tomorrow... surreal!
cheers

I saw your photo this morning, and its beauty reminded me of Watery Wednesday. So thanks for inspiring me to participate this week.

I suppose if one spent all one's day (and night?) alert in nature one could see all sorts of colors and beauty.

Mysterious mist.

I also saw mist on the other side of the country when I went for my walk today. Autumn is coming and your picture expresses that in a very appealing way. :)

That is lovely. Getting up early is hard but it does often render good things.

That is a beautiful photo. If you stare at it long enough it seem like the mist is moving.

Great shots- I never get going early enough to get this.

Love scenes like this...I never feel like moving that early. Maybe because I am up every night till one or two o'clock in the morn. Maybe I should go to bed earlier.

I'm glad you're the one getting up early... so I get to see these beautiful morning views! I'm a night owl.

[My camera has no video function, but one of my travel companions took a short video of me dancing in the street with one of the musicians in Kirtipur, but I was too shy to post it. :-D]

The mist makes this a thermal place I often visit. Really beautiful, the yellow vegetation.

You may want to blow up the photo and hang it on your wall.

You could have a series of photos.

6am, 6,30am, 7 am etc. and do an animation.
