Hockley/ Weekend Reflections

Creek near Hockley, Ontario

This photo was taken a few days before Christmas, a day when the sun was peeking through now and then. Since then we have NOT gotten any more snow so I doubt that the trees have lovely puffs on them as in this photo.

A world laden with snow! And still there is a little water for reflections! Delightful photo!

Looks like your snow didn't blow away like most of ours. :)

I like how the trees farthest away seem to be leaning more towards the water - as if they are falling like domino's.

The trees are making a nice arch over the water (helped by the weight of the snow?!)
Happy New Year to you!

Snow on the trees and reflections in the water -- this is a perfect winter photo.

Oh, my gosh, talk about the frozen north. Great capture.

Such a peaceful scene But I'm too much of a wimp to live in chronic winter cold. Happy New Year.

Our own winter wonderland here is a lot less pretty than originally, too. We haven't had any other snow since the 10 or so inches just around Christmas. I hope we get more so that school will be canceled! I love a good snow day!

Nice photo, as always.

Happy New Year,
Gina

Awesome - I'm a sucker for beautiful snow pics, we don't get much here. Love how the trees lean in, as if to view their reflections in the pond's mirror.
