the one thing i dislike about this time of year is there is more and more darkness, the days shrink and shrink. this is beautiful and since you mentioned easier to get a sunrise, now maybe i can get a sunset. i am always in bed when it sets since we go to bed at 8 and get up at 4. I would love to be in this photo

Seeing the sunrise, and the mist on the water - those are the two joys of fall, so far as I am concerned!! I love this shot!

Good to get all our sunrises and sunsets in, while we can:) The sky makes what would otherwise an ordinary pic, to a very intriguing pic!

Beautiful shot. Makes sense that it was overcast during the day as I think the saying is red sky in the morning sailor's take warning, red sky at night sailor's delight.

Now that is just lovely.

A very lovely setting! Even if i have wonderful sunsets also here, as will be substantiated by my Skywatch Friday posts in the past, every sunset like this is still welcome. It's amazing how we always love sunsets no matter how plenty of beautiful sunsets we've already seen!

The best sunrises and sunsets come with clouds. We kinda like clouds down here 'cause it keep the temps down, down here.

Nicely done. One more for your calendar! Did you ever do a calendar? If not, why not? :-)
