 Maples

Truth be told, these bright colours are barely here yet in East Gwillimbury. But a couple of hours north of here, autumn is expressing itself loud and clear.

We are getting some colour here, but that rain on Sunday knocked a lot of the bright leaves to the ground...

Brilliantly red! The lovely maple leaf at its brightest reminds me of why it was chosen for the Canadian flag. :)

So pretty! I love the val colours.Around here they are gone as of today. Strong wind is taking the leaves right off the trees.

Amazing colors and how I wish we'd get these soon! We still have humid/sultry moments, so I guess I'll have to wait for autumn to really arrive. :)

Wonderful fall colors. I'm sure you'll get fall well ahead of me. I look forward to the oak and maples changing.
