Extreme Decorating

 Somewhere south of East Gwillimbury

One house and fenced-in yard. Really. Some of you might think this is over-the top, but I think this is...er, over the top too.  However I do confess I really did want to photograph it and...

 A few closer ups

create a mosaic of some of the elements.

 Porch above the front entrance

Someone is crazy about Halloween, dontcha think?

HI EG I have to confess that I think it is tacky and ghastly however worthy of a photo shot.

It's way over the top, and I can't imagine doing that to my home, but I can see why you wanted to photograph it. And you photographed it well.

To say it's over the top is like calling Lake Ontario a pond!

Makes for good photographing material though!

I think it is neat to see all these decorations. Some people really know how to decorate and have fun. Thanks for sharing, have a happy week!

Isn't it fun? We passed a place with extreme decorations. I just don't do i anymore. We don't get kids.
I love your photos, though.

Wow! I would say that is over the top. Everything is so jumbled together that I can barely make out what is there. No doubt you had fun trying to photograph it all.

Too much for me,that's for sure.

I get a laugh out of things like this. There are some Halloween nuts in Connecticut, too, but I have yet to see any down here in Naples.

Looks kinda tacky. Sometimes less is more. Nice mosaic.

Overkill comes to mind. Makes for a fun mosaic though.

That is going to be one cool place on Halloween eve.

Definitely overkill. Colourful overkill.

They really take Halloween very seriously! :)

Might be over the top, but I prefer it to the cemeteries that so many people create in their yards...

I bet is was great fun putting it all out and about, but cleaning it up and packing it away is going to be a real pain in the back, The is definitely over the top decoration but oh, so cute,

It's a great exhibit to take pictures of. Other than that, it's quite insane…some people have too much time on their hands. :))

Wow! I went out walking in our neighborhood yesterday looking for Halloween decorations and didn't find a thing... a pumpkin on a porch or two but that was it.

I'd say they can barely contain their holiday spirit. Fun!

Can you just imagine getting all that stuff set up??? And where would you put it after you took it down. I will admit I would have been snapping like mad and Lorelei would have loved it.

I'd say it was a little overdone. MB

It might be excessive, but it's pretty awesome too!

You hav eto say that is really going to town, mind you people in this country do it for Christmas so why not

Suppose every community has that one place where more is more! I give them credit for enthusiasm, but I'll bet the neighbors dread each holiday. Do you know if they do the same for other holidays?
