Chippy

Out of its hole and up on the fence

This chipmunk  is out "shopping" for nuts and seeds to store for the winter ahead. I was lucky enough to see it pop up in its hole,  climb out, look around. and then hop up on a fence to collect a mouthful of seeds.

I am Linking to Mosaic Monday HERE

They are cute. I know of some burrowed behind a stone retaining wall in a park. They should be making themselves scarce soon.

What fabulous photos! It's so hard to get up close enough to take this little critter. But aren't they cute!

cute little guy. no chipmunks here -- lots of squirrels. Cute, but pesky. But they make me smile! Thanks for the smile!

We don't have chipmunks on Crete and I miss them; they're adorable, the cuter, less creepy members of the rodent species!

Great shot! It looks like it has a plan!

It's hard to be angry with chipmunks for digging in garden pots and stealing birdseed when they're so darn cute.

He has got to be working like mad at this time of year, as he senses that he is running out of time to gather his winter stores.
