C/Alphabe-Thursday

 Chipmunk hoping for treats

C is for chipmunks.

Yes, these photos WERE taken when the grass was still green. Now the grass is covered with snow.

 Found some peanuts, a fave!

Oh WOW! Peanuts in the shell!

It's really hard to stuff these completely into a tiny mouth.

I am linking to Jenny Matlock at Alphabe-Thursday HERE

My chipmunks moved their home somewhere and only one or two showed up to fill up their larder this past summer. Too hot and dry for much life in these parts.

It is a nice shot of a tiny creature that I love to photograph.

Interesting how chipmunks can be so cute while squirrels are not.

Chipmunks are cute, aren't they? And at Christmas, I am reminded of them by Alvin and the Chipmunks, who sing ridiculous children's Christmas songs.

Awesome shots, so incredible if you have good eyes, you can see your reflection in the chipmunks' eye in that first one!

Chipmunks are just so adorable...but can be destructive, too. Sarah had trouble with them...she used live traps to catch them and then took them to the woods to turn them loose.
