April Snow/ Sepia Scenes

Still too early to plant the fields

Here I was thinking it's spring, but Mother Nature disagreed. (Isn't April Fool's Day celebrated on the 1st?)

The good new this time of year is the snow won't last. The temperature is rising to 8°C (47°F) by Thursday. Snow is pretty...but so are daffodils! And I want them to bloom here soon.

    I understand your frustration with the false hopes of Spring. Here we have had three days of snow covered ground and I am hoping that it is gone soon. It is supposed to be warmer toward the weekend so I am hopeful. I just hope it lasts for a while longer as my baby brother is getting married next weekend and I would love to do some outdoor images with them weather permitting.

    Don't they say that winter can come again until May? At least, that's a French saying! This is a gorgeous scene, it makes me think of "little house on the prairie"... ;-)

    I just love the scenes you find Gwilli. I would like to walk into this photo and stay for a while - warm coat and boots, of course.

    It seems that the EG area is like the saying "Great White North". Although in Southern CT, the temps are not much greater than in Ontario. I like the look of snow, but I am growing weary of the frozen precip. Where is the proper Spring weather!

    These old and beautiful farms go well with the Sepia format. There is a longing here where the past seems to hang in there for future generations to learn from

    I couldn't agree more - The snow in the winter is pretty as it falls, but the spring flowers sure are pretty too! Great sepia!

    Such a different scene from your previous post. :)
    Great sepia scene against the snow however.
    We actually had a about a quarter of an inch last night. Doesn't seemed to have hurt anything luckily.

    Snow at Easter???? I remember in 1977, all the Canadian girls were wearing thin white cotton dresses for Easter service.
