I've been to Canada once. Well, for just a minute. We went over the border north of Grand Marais, Minnesota and then had to come back 'cause my in-laws didn't have the proper paper work for their little toy poodle.
Interesting---so there is snow in Canada but not in the US. Heyare you giving us a snow job? LOL My sister is a Canadian citizen so we are sisters across the border and that is how I think of you and all Canada. MB
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
Thanks for the Welcome, I'll wait until the snow is gone tho. Do you speak both languages?

What a nice take on 'foreign'. But I think of Canada as a neighbor, not a foreign land.
ReplyDeleteAhh! Our 51st state;just kidding.
ReplyDeleteI always get so excited when we go through those gates into Canada! Such grand beauty ahead!!
ReplyDeletegreat take on the theme. I'm sure those gates were busy during the Olympics.
ReplyDeleteOf course I expected to see snow in your pictures -- that's where I come for my daily fix!!!!!!!! To me THIS YEAR, snow is foreign!
ReplyDeleteI hate these formalities. Make most of us feel like the criminals we're not.
ReplyDeleteAs Ciel said, I also hate these formalities, but it's necessary.I will go for a VISA this year because I really want to visit your country!

ReplyDeleteVery good EG. I would think it might get confusing if you didn't know what those signs said.
ReplyDeleteYou have a BEAUTIFUL country!

Great picture, EG... George and I visited a piece of Canada when we went to Niagara Falls and stayed on the Canadian side... It was GREAT.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
