Sauble Falls near Sauble Beach, Ontario
On a partly cloudy day earlier in November, my husband and I took a day trip to the shores of Lake Huron. We had heard about this falls and wanted to see it for ourselves. We've had plenty of rain this month so the water was rushing over the the many rocks in the river.
This photo was taken from the southerly side of the river.
Two fishers just below the falls
We also walked the trail on the north side of the falls to get a different view. I don't know if these guys caught any fish. The weather was fairly warm so they may have been content to be out enjoying some quality time with Mother Nature.
Now that's my kind of place! Beautiful! Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOuch! isn't he cold in the water?
ReplyDeleteThe view is very pretty.
The falls are pretty, so wide and evenly spaced. I'll bet they sound great as the water rushes along.

ReplyDeleteThiss is definitely my kind of waterfall where a fisherman can stand in the water and be safe. What a beautiful capture and a heavenly spot. A Wonderful photo. genie
ReplyDeleteI like the way you chose to shoot from two different perspectives. Above to get the roiling water over the rocks. Below, the peaceful lake. Each had a different feeling. Hope it was a good day out with Mother Nature for you and your husband.

Attractive and beautiful.
Fishing is wonderful, I really like.

You took nice shots of the different perspective of the lake. A lot of rain could bring beautiful spring flowers.

That trip gave me an ever lasting good impression of the Canadians. I was getting car sick, Martin stopped the car, and I vomitted on the road. One of the girls went to the door for some water. The lady of the house came and gave me a glass of orange juice. How about that?
