Oh no, my first thought was it was some portable construction barriers that I see used around here. Afraid orange wouldn't be my choice for a fence. Nice photo though.
it is ok, but orange is not a favorite color for me and i would not want it in my yard. a drive by look would be great but not a daily dose... this reminds me of all the colorful houses in our village of the arts.
except for the fact that it reminds me of the orange plastic construction fencing i had to erect around our pond's edge to keep the horses back because of the drought, i'd say it looks pretty good!
While I do love the color of pumpkins I must admit that I think a little orange goes a long ways. However, I kind of like the way this fence looks. It's so bold and as you said, artsy.
Really admire bold color choices in exterior house/fence colors. Last year I was very pleased that this true orange was Color of the Year. And yet I don't have a single piece of clothing in this color.
Maybe the owners decided to make this color choice because others in the community were doing the same?

ReplyDeleteI agree. Color can make the ordinary so much more interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly stands out but looks nice with the green surroundings. :)
ReplyDeleteOrange is a bold choice -- but it does work well here.
ReplyDeleteA little too bright for me, but it does look good against the greenery.
ReplyDeleteBravo for those homeowners who decorate what pleases them!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does brighten up the landscape. I'd probably have painted it white, but bland does what bland is. Or something like that!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of that "rez" colour, but it is a great shot!
ReplyDeleteThe design of the fence is pleasing but I don't know if I'd do orange. :)
ReplyDeleteNicely framed shot!
It is really daring to place a fence with this color. I am still not sure if I like it but thanks for showing.
ReplyDeleteI think it works very nicely against that rich green backdrop!

ReplyDeleteNow that's a orange fence.... Happy shooting
ReplyDeleteGreat find! Orange would be the last color I'd think of for a fence, but I'd enjoy it in someone else's yard.
ReplyDeleteLots of character!
ReplyDeleteOrange is a good color. I once saw a park with orange colored benches, it really enhances the mood.
