November Icicles

 Dripping off a dock

Windy weather on a freezing day splashed water onto the dock, some of which froze as it dripped back into the lake. Yep, it's too early for icicles but I loved their reflection in the water.

  25. Well I was complaining of the cold in Brittany this morning, but, it is still a very warm place, I guess... All this ice make me chill, brrrrr !

But the reflection is awesome, and we are lucky you didn't decide to stay home that very day... ^^

  30. Cool in more ways than one.

I just looked at the weather forecast and Sunday's high is 31F with a low of 18F and 23 mph wind. I might go over to the lake to try for similar reflections. :-)

  32. My first thought on seeing icecles was ALREADY? We had some unusually fierce winds here last night but it isn't cold.

  45. It's cool here on the coast, but when the sun comes out it is nice. Puddles freeze at night, here at sea level, but melt if the sun reaches them. The high country is a different story. I bet there's lots of icicles up there. - Margy
