Chipmunk

Chipmunk

I love these guys! They are such fun to watch and photograph.

From my archives. My computer is still being repaired. I wish I'd known my computer might have a defective video card, which apparently is the problem. EW!!

    I have resident chipmunk in my backyard. He is smart and outwits the squirrels for food.
    PS: I don't know what is worse... no computer or no camera. Now of days they go hand in hand.

    Our Chippys are up from their long winters nap too ... they just suddenly appear as if nothing has changed. This is a wonderful photograph ... lucky you to spot one standing still.

    Chips' too. We have one--only one--that comes to the bird feeders and cleans up under them.

    Very nice photo. Good luck with the computer. Mine is okay but getting on in years. Perhaps I should upgrade in the fall when Windows 10 comes out.

    The last chipmunk I saw was in Colorado. We don't have 'em here. Don't know why. We have squirrels.

    Theda the dog loves them, too! She never catches any, but she likes to stick her nose into the holes they run down. Squirrels run up the trees and aren't as much fun, it seems.
