We had to get within five feet of it, and the heat was very intense. Plus the longer it took you, the hotter the oil got, and the harder it was to put out the flames.Yogi♪♪♪https://www.blogger.com/profile/00411274031147372579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3946649652245671051.post-92154460758773059322011-11-07T21:45:09.110-05:002011-11-07T21:45:09.110-05:00Thank goodness so many are willing to volunteer fo...Thank goodness so many are willing to volunteer for such a dangerous job!Pat @ Mille Fiori Favoritihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08922525910685129822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3946649652245671051.post-4221391753344044032011-11-07T20:52:53.278-05:002011-11-07T20:52:53.278-05:00True heroes at work.True heroes at work.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10123691580195879542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3946649652245671051.post-85315020421984334822011-11-07T20:44:21.440-05:002011-11-07T20:44:21.440-05:00Great post and very nice tribute to the firefighte...Great post and very nice tribute to the firefighters!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful shots;o)

***
Have a nice and happy week****Cildemerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00493593893716571818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3946649652245671051.post-47590061589054533312011-11-07T19:17:36.001-05:002011-11-07T19:17:36.001-05:00Great to dedicate a post to such dedicated and nec...Great to dedicate a post to such dedicated and necessary volounteers.Gillian Olsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16283601772483708539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3946649652245671051.post-55567753728483244402011-11-07T18:20:58.828-05:002011-11-07T18:20:58.828-05:00What a wonderful post. But go up it just to be 'way up there in the air? Brrrr.
One of my father's best friends was a volunteer fireman, and they both worked right across the street from the fire hall. To that I respond that I'm not so much afraid of heights as I am afraid of falling.
