Fall Foliage/ Sky Watch

This is Ontario in mid October! Isn't the sky beautiful?

Oh! You weren't looking at the sky? ;-) You were more interested in the colourful trees behind the spruce trees? Well here's another look:

And here's another:

The sky WAS beautiful last Sunday (gorgeous blue, eh?) but, truth be told, I wasn't really looking at the sky because the maples were unbelievably stunning in full sun.

  50. Fabulous photos of fall foliage, thank you for sharing this beautiful view with sky watch friday.

Thanks for your kind comments on my post earlier, the Anne stories are great fun. When I try to explain I am from New Brunswick, no one ever knows where that is but as soon as I mention Anne (in any language) the lights go on and everyone smiles because everyone knows Anne.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Awesome colors, beautiful foliage and sky. Still green around here.

    ReplyDelete
  68. You are so right. The Maples are spectacular this year. In our area it's the oranges that rule.
    Beautiful pictures.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I agree, the foliage is what catches my attention, but then it wouldn't look as good without the beautiful sky. I think the wispy clouds in the first photo especially contribute immensely to the overall look of the shot.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I wouldn't be looking at the sky either with colors like those in the trees. We don't get that here in Florida - most plants stay green all the time... but at least we don't get much (if any) snow. :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. You're right: The maples in your part of the world at this time of the year are unmatched! Thanks for sharing.

    ReplyDelete
  72. LOVEly autumn colors!
Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I confess - I barely looked at the sky in these photos the first time around. All three images are beautiful but that sugar maple is really stunning! I think they're prettier than the red maples.
