Not many flowers blooming in my neck of the woods now, but these seed heads are floating in the skies where milkweed blossoms were in bloom last summer.

I am 53 yrs old--today in fact. And I still love to 'spread' the milkweed seed...just love to see them floating in the air. And they are another thing I take pictures of every year...
Wow, these are wonderful! I saw milkweed for the first time this year. I was captivated by the silky texture. I would have touched it if they weren't full of bugs. Great shots!

Milkweed? I'm lactose intolerant, so I try to avoid them.
