Splashing Good Time/ Camera Critters

This photo was actually taken a couple of weeks ago but some geese are still gathering on local ponds, refusing to believe winter is coming.

Truth be told, many ducks and geese are often here till there's significant ice and that hasn't happened yet.

  5. Great action shot. I love to see the geese no matter when they are around but they stay quite late into the snowy season here as well.

  12. Looks a lot like The Space Cadet splashing through a big wave here on the beach in Florida, only difference is that the water is a little warmer here.

  15. I always wonder don't they ever get cold? To my way of thinking, how birds survive at all is a miracle...then to get in the water and play at this time of year makes it even more so.
