Remember theses Old Black Magic lyrics by Harold Arlen: Those icy fingers up and down my spine/ That same old witchcraft....? I'm thinking these icicles look a bit like witch's fingers. Anyone else thing so too?
It does, doesn't it. Spooky. We are having such mild weather here. Go to my other blog: http://www.day4plus.blogspot.com and have a look at our mild weather. MB
A beautiful old-fashioned winter of way-back-when we would call this here in Arona. We just had some watery snowflakes yesterday but that was all. It is years ago when we were covered in snow for a few days. I will post a picture of Arona in snow as a Christmas card to all blogger friends. Have a good weekend! Cheers

It looks like white crevices of the wall! Or a full box of cotton which has gashed at its sides! Rich imagination, don't you think?

Okay, the queen of gross... Did you kids ever come in with runny noses in cold weather?? Mine did and.... :D
ReplyDeleteThose DO look like icy fingers. Great catch!
ReplyDeleteYour weather looks much like ours. It's snowing here right now, and 31ยบ-
-1C. More snow on the way.
Now that you point it out, I think so, too. It looks beautiful but I do not look forward to the snow, especially in the city.

Yes, they do look like icy fingers. And I'm shivering just looking at them!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. We hardly ever get ice cycles here in Texas.
ReplyDeleteI think winter has arrived. We are supposed to get snow flurries tonight, but not expecting accumulation, thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteI've never lived in snow so I've never seen anything like this. I think it's amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The snow on the roof and the long icicles -- looks like old man winter came early for you!
