Once again, truly fabulous images! Your posts always make me feel happy about travelling the skies with you, thank you for sharing your world.
N.B.: Yes, the ice is thick, but not everywhere: Moments after I took the picture of the children, one adult broke through the ice, near the reeds. Musrats living in the reeds blow airbubbles, which weaken the ice above their travel routes.
Portland Oregon Daily Photo sends you heartfelt wishes for the new year. May your 2009 be filled with good health, riches of the mind and heart, loved ones returning home, an increased respect for our fragile planet, and the cessation of wars across the Earth.
I have thoroughly enjoyed browsing your recent posts!
Lovely shots. Did you sty up to see the new year in? I was in Tottenham, and then in Barrie, sitting in a cold car outside until the stroke of midnight, when we went "First Footing".
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
