West End of Small Backyard Pond in EG
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.

Now that is a wonderful quote--so true. I do get tired of cloudy days, but I love them all the same. Right now everything is a sheet of ice around here...about an inch thick.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post! Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo and a beautiful quote that rings so true!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to you and your family.
the very best of new years.
I beg your forgiveness for my cutting and pasting – yet constantly reworking – this comment, but there was no way on Earth I would be able to make it around the whole globe to wish everybody a Merry Christmas otherwise.
ReplyDeleteYou cannot know the pain it causes me to admit that I am a mere mortal (and that the magical elves on my staff have little respect for my authority or their salary packages. Consequently, the reindeer are all filthy and out of shape and the elves that have shown up for work all seem a little worse for wear, if you catch my drift. All they seem to do is sit around smoking, playing cards and telling dirty jokes!
Anyway, myself, Henry and Ezra, would dearly like to wish you a Merry Christmas/Winter Solstice/Hanukkah/Festivus and a happy New Year!
We hope that all of your holiday photos turn out to be triumphs, and that your stocking will be stuffed fwith tasty treats rather than coal!
I see lots of little critter feet prints leading to the water.
ReplyDeleteB.
Beautiful as always. Merry Christmas to you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love your Ruskin quote. I'm trying my hardest to appreciate the ugly rain falling outside my window.
