This photo was taken on a day that had been totally overcast until about 4:00pm. The clouds began to break in the west and the sun shown through as it went down. So I grabbed my camera and...
At about 4:15 this is what it looked like. A few minutes later the sun was again hidden by clouds but I'd got my shot!

ReplyDeleteAnd it's a sunset in the cold, I could already see that when I saw the top of the photo and not yet the snow. Strange, that's knowledge that is in our head but if asked to define a winter sunset that would be hard.
