Bench & Shadow/ Monochrome Maniacs

Lately I'm fascinated by shadows. If only the sun would indulge me more! At last -- as you can see -- it broke through the clouds long enough for me to snap this photo.

  7. I'm fascinated by this shadow at least! You could have even left out the bench itself and it would be compelling. But I'm glad you didn't. I love the texture it adds to the shot.

  11. Ha! sometimes we beg for sun jst to chase a perfect shadow, huh? But to no avail but suddenly when your not intended to have one, then a perfect shadow come along your way.

    Just HURRY & cam must be handy.

  15. What a beautiful shot. I love the intricacy of the end of the bench in the shadow. The end probably wouldn't even be noticed if it wasn't for the shadow.

  29. I like the shadow effect too on the artistic metal of the bench. It kinda of brings the mind into the gap looking between the shadow and the light.

  31. Shadows seem hard to come by lately with the cloudy and stormy weather we've been having. Always found benches to be a good focal point.
