Don't you wonder what secrets are hiding in this house mostly hidden by a hill and trees at the end of this lane ?

  1. A mystery house huh? Beautiful shot of house in snow but I like the fence most of all. It shows real character. . . I lied -- I like the snow most of all . . . but after that----

  2. It's a really romantic picture and I certainly fancy the house hidden behind trees and bushes, seemingly a peaceful place, but there is one room that you are not to enter for.... Now you can start a gothic novel. Thanks for showing!

  3. Now that's a perfect place for spinning a tale, a fairytale of course!

  5. I think it is very nice. Quiet. Peaceful. The snow, undisturbed, on the fence. Nice.

  7. Reminds me of a house I lived in when I was a girl. A lovely house on a wooded lot, surrounded by a post and rail fence. Lovely.

  9. That is an amazing shot! I am sure the house has a ghost! A place the children in the neighbourhood are a little bit afraid of walking by....But still, it is a peaceful place. Love the fence!

  11. Really nice shot! That rustic looking fence goes great with the show and bare branches. I'd almost expect a horse and sleigh to come into the picture. :-)

  20. The sepia adds a mysterious pale bronze to the house. In this shot we do wonder about this abode as we can only see a small part of it. We are left to wonder if we should venture further and investigate the place or have second thoughts and get out of there...

  21. Does anyone live there? Or do ghosts inhabit the place, now? Oooo
