Hey! What's with the snow? Hmmm. I flew north for this? These photos were taken earlier this week. The robin and I are pleased to announce that most of the snow has now melted!

Good shots of the Robin. I love his comments.
ReplyDeleteBTW. The robins have been here much longer than the first Trillium. I hope yours appear soon. MB
The robins never leave Indiana so they must not mind snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots with excellent detail and color. We had light snow here too (less than you had), but it is gone now.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the snow is gone EG! And the robin has come! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. So up close! Pretty bird.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous closeups! I agee with Neal since I have seen them all winter.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Easter.
Thanks for the great pictures of the Robin, EG... Glad your snow has melted (almost)... Now both you and the Robin and enjoy SPRING.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Beautiful Robin fence sitter.
ReplyDeleteSharp and nice colour!
Nice robin shots! I hope that is the end of the snow for you.
ReplyDeletespring is never far behind cock robin
ReplyDeleteVery and excellent photography...I have a very hard time getting good shots of birds.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cutie! Glad the snow is gone!
Beautiful shots. Glad Spring is starting to show up in your area.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of the robin!! You got so close, you can see all the detail in the feathers!
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Easter!!
Hee...Robins in Oklahoma get fooled on a regular basis, too! Good shots!
ReplyDeletebrave robin Sandy
ReplyDeleteGreat robin photos. I'm sure he's glad to be nearly snowless.
ReplyDeletePretty Robin Redbreast..
ReplyDeleteGrat photo and I completely agree with his comments :-)
I have a male robin that runs under the suet feeder anytime he sees a bird using it and grabs the crumbs. I think it's pretty smart as the cold temps have made their lives difficult.....
ReplyDeletePretty little birdie...I like your tail...mind if I have just a little a taste?
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots! Love the detail that can be seen.
ReplyDeleteLOL you gotta love those thoughts the robin is having! Hopefully beautiful spring weather is on it's way for you.

He can fly to me if he wants. A beauty, so much detail on those feathers.
ReplyDeleteEG: Really nice captures of the Robin. I like the flaired tail, I never saw one do that.
ReplyDeleteI'm always excited to see the robins return each spring. I've got a pair busying themselves with nesting under our deck. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteHe is fluffed up like he is a little bit disgusted with that snow!
ReplyDeleteFunny, Neal sees robins all winter but we sure don't here...we have discussed this and don't know the reason. We are on about exactly the same latitude so he doesn't live farther south than us.
Glad to hear that the robins have made a good spring forecast.
ReplyDeletewhat a cute little bird. lovely photos. happy easter!
ReplyDeleteYou show this little robin off beautifully, great shots!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors, you've capture the robin well!
ReplyDeleteI would be pleased too - and am, as most of ours is gone too. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely colouring.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the top photo - the angle of the robins beak reflects the angle of the fence it's on - which makes for a very "easy on the eye" photograph... if you know what I mean. It's got a nice balance...
