Recycled Train Car/ Sepia Scenes

All Aboard!

Hey! Where are we going?

Rail-car Restaurant

Out to eat! This quaint restaurant is beside the Georgina Town Hall in Keswick, Ontario.

And, yes, I coloured the first photo in layers, erasing the sepia from the red lights and train logo in the top layer before combining layers 1 and 2 by "flattening" them.

    I'd certainly like to have a meal there. There are some railcars made into individual "cabins" in the Yountville area nearby. We've never stayed in one but did have the opportunity to take a walk through and they were quite snug and nice.

    Well done! At first I thought it was a hamburger stop on Hwy 11 going north..I forget the name.Every one stops there!

    Love old train cars...especially those made into restaurants. And this is a very effective treatment of a sepia...that little bit of color is WOW!

    That CN rail car is beautiful, and it is perfect as a restaurant. You could sit at the table, close your eyes and almost imagine being served a sumptuous meal while climbing the Canadian Rockies...

    The map of EG is great. I have not been North of Highway 401 and Pearson airport, and I am sure that T.O. is only the beginning of a beautiful Ontario. Cold in the Winter, but beautiful in the summer I imagine...

    I'm all in to old trains, abandoned places.. So your shots is like heaven to me!

    I find swedish people a bit stiff when it come to 'thinking' about pictures - using their 'so called' intelligence..
    So I join you guys instead on 'Sepia Scenes' and I will start on 'Mono' too..

    I love recycled train carriages - there used to be a restaurant near to us that used two of them, linked together.
