Garbage/ Photo Hunter

Old ice-fishing huts and worn-out tires

This week's Photo Hunter challenge: Garbage

This is the backyard of a farm barn that just happens to be beside a road where passersby can easily see from the busy country road. Well, at least the owners cannot see the mess from their home.

I'm not sure why the farmer is storing so many fishing huts or why he's collecting all these tires. And I'm not going to knock on his door to ask - just in case he has a junkyard dog. Anyone volunteering?

  4. Good photo - the silvery trees make look like a winter scene. This place would look fantastic with a coat of frost!

  7. I agree - stay away from the owner - may be the kind sleeping with a loaded gun on his/her porch :) I knew a person who built a fence out of used tires - it was ugly but - hey - it is not my fence - we are free to do that :)

  9. Ha, I'm afraid I'd be too much of a chicken to knock on the door and ask. I like the way this looks as a photograph. It has a artistic feel to it although I can see it might get old as a regular view. Great take on the theme.
