Papaver Somniferum/ SOOC

Annual poppies blooming now in my gardens

I don't plant these poppies - local birds do. They pop up singly or in groups in most of my gardens, blooming for a week or two every July.

  2. Oooohhhh!! You have single poppies!! I did not even know they came in singles!! I have only seen doubles! But I finally have one growing this year! You would think I would have had hundreds by now, the way I have planted seeds, but they have just never taken before.

  6. Oh my this is beautiful!. I didn't know birds planted these..I've never seen birds near mine. My Poppies are all gone. Mostly the rain destroyed them, BUT I have pictures to refresh my memories of their wonderful colors.
Thanks for backing me up on those Lily names. I've got your back too LOL
