Rainbow at end of Day/ Sky Watch

Rainbow over osprey nest

Just before sunset, I waited, waited,waited for an osprey to return to its nest at the top of this light standard when a rainbow began to grow. Ha! My camera captured a rainbow but not the osprey.

  17. We have osprey in the UK, not here. Beautiful birds, but they do poop a lot. Gorgeous rainbow rising.

  25. Wow, that is one big rainbow! I have a stuffed osprey on my blog post from yesterday. Much easier than waiting around in nature. Though not nearly as satisfying.
