For Whom the Bell.../ Sepia Scenes

Old, old bell

The bell is now permanently in this position on a tall pedestal beside the waterfall in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. Unfortunately I forget whether this bell still has its clapper or not.  I took the photo in September.

  3. I like the picture...and the word 'clapper' reminds me of Johnny Carson's show that had the guy from dragnet on.

  7. I enjoy your sepia scenes. Up here we're getting to be pretty monochrome, except for the snap dragons that are still hanging out at the end of the dock. Pretty warm November.

  8. It may or may not have a clapper, but it makes a perfect sepia scene. I like the angle at which the bell is set.

  12. There sure is a lot of movement in the picture. Clouds, vegetation and bell all blend together and I expect a clang of the bell at any instant.
