Thanks, I think I will have some!
Our local hardware store offers small bags of help-yourself popcorn on Saturdays and Sundays. Hmmm. I wonder what I'll desperately need from the hardware store this weekend.
Seeing red? Why not join in the Ruby Tuesday fun, by visiting MaryT at http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com/
My husband is always coming in and telling me he's going to run down to the hardware store - maybe I need to check ours out. :)
ReplyDeleteOne should never shop at a hardware store when hungry (or is that saying for grocery shopping)? I'd like to purchase some #10 wood screws with a Phillips head, while munching...Nice retailer!
ReplyDeleteI've seen those popcorn things in stores, too. Lois Anne loves them!
ReplyDeleteKewl RUBY choice ;-)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of something I did with a Lemonade Stand for Mellow Yellow Monday a while back.
Hugs and blessings,
We have one, too! So good, except for those with flu breathing into it! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe red color on that popcorn machine is wonderful! Great idea for RT
ReplyDeleteHubby and son love popcorn....Happy Ruby Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter would want to join you!
ReplyDeletewow, that's neat.. Help yourself popcorn is nowhere to be found here in the Philippines. We dont have help yourself food anyway.. .
ReplyDeleteMy Ruby Tuesday entry here.
I love popcorn and I'll bet it tastes great. Just go for a stroll, I'm sure they won't mind. '~)
ReplyDeletethat would be nice if we live close to that Hardware lolz.. because this time my hubby is fixing our kitchen cabinets so he definitely needs something in the Hardware.
ReplyDeleteHappy Ruby Tuesday!
Oh how neat, EG... Where is that hardware store???? Think I need to be there on Saturday!!! I love that kind of popcorn...
ReplyDeleteGreat Ruby Tuesday post.
Hugs,
Betsy
In Australia the hardware stores sell BBQ sausages with onions and sauce in bread rolls. I have to avoid hardware stores on the weekend, the aroma of those sausages is way to inviting. Perfect red popcorn machine for Ruby Tuesday! :)
ReplyDeleteBut, but the popcorn box is already empty.
ReplyDeleteI'll buy a nail pistol elsewhere.

Great choice EG. What a nice gesture for the folks at the hardware. I'm betting they will see lots of customers.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your trip to Rochester. It's about 5 hours from us.

ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll have a bag. Your image was so real I could smell the hot buttered popcorn immiediatly.
ReplyDeleteNeat post for ruby Tuesday. The local tire store also gives away popcorn while you wait. MB
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Cute popcorn cart. There's awlays a good excuse for popcorn I say.
ReplyDeleteHow fun, what a great concept for a store. There's never a bad time for popcorn.
ReplyDeleteGreat cart, great marketing idea.
ReplyDeleteDarla
Hubby would love that hardware store. Happy RT
ReplyDeleteWe have one of these in Sam's Department Store on Main Street. It feeds hungry Vermonters and visitors 7 days a week and is a great draw, especially for people with cranky children.
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool, perfect capture!
ReplyDeleteI want some pop please!
Léia :)
I love those old popcorn thingies, they're so vintage looking
ReplyDeleteand yummy too :)
It's the only store I don't have to talk my wife into going to.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a hardware store anyone would want to find reasons to visit. And it's free. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteVery fun find this week! I can't believe they just give the popcorn away for free. Where I live they charge you 25 cents for every bag. I'm jelous!
ReplyDeleteIf you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.
