Beautiful tribute and great choice for the theme.
ReplyDeleteA poignant photo pointing to some very troubled times and to the ultimate sacrifice so many made for the greater good.
ReplyDeleteLovely tribute catch. We also celebrate our Veterans on the 11th. Celebrate is a strange word but we celebrate their lives and sacrifice for us. MB
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this...I couldn't imagine the pain their families must have felt never knowing what happened to them.
ReplyDeleteYes, we do that on the 11th. Your shot reminds us of all those men who died, those who survived for in my case- the freedom of Western Europe.
