Bulky/ Photo Hunter

A maple tree growing in the back of this old pickup truck

Perfect for a rural property, this truck planter is a tad bit bulky for an urban doorstep.

This week's Photo Hunter challenge: bulky

  1. A great rural capture! That truck needs more than a little oil and gas! I took a photo of an old Trabant car in East Berlin before the fall of the Wall; someone had made the engine space into a flower planter!

  7. EG: I guess that gives you an idea of how long the truck has been there.

  16. My hubby always wanted to invent a machine that could restore these old vehicles just by pointing it at the old heap. LOL

  18. I Love it. There is a similar truck not too far from here and I always say I am going to take a pic of it---growing trees. But something stops me and I don't know why.
    Yours is perfect. MB

  26. What great photos! Love them. I think that vehicles of the 30s and 40s were rather bulky in shape. The 60s got a little sleeker... but the aerodynamics didn't kick in until, when, the 80s?

I goofed for Photo Hunters this week, and did "12" instead of "Bulky." :S Oops. But I decided to leave it up because it's appropriate for this week... and because I didn't want to spend an hour doing a different post! I hope you can visit.
