sometimes I would find little animal tracks in the snow on the benches, like they too were remembering the good times of summer and crumbs from a picnic. judi
Oh brrrrrrr!! frozen picnics? Such a lovely shot though. Do I see snow still coming down? We are so mild here that i bought Primroses and Daffodils to put in containers. MB
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
The people have gone, but the benches are left. I get a feeling of quietness, silence, but also of expectation.
ReplyDeleteI could not face all this cold and snow for a picnic! :)
ReplyDeleteBut thanks so much for sharing such a wonderful landscape!

With that kind of weather, I rather stay at home than going picnicking. Too cold. :p
ReplyDeleteI did in the 70s, sit in a snow laden park in Windsor Ontario and see the frozen ice flow down the Detroit river. Now it will be too cold for me.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile we have a heat wave in Australia.
Thanks for visiting.
I would rather remember past picnics than have one now! I love the tranquility of this shot, though!
