Great weather vane. Great winter picture. The rooster seems to be in excellent shape too, even after all the "weather" we have had this winter. From Felisol
The rooster stands out proudly, his red comb perfect for RT. The red chimney is also ruby, and much larger. It is nice to have a weathervane with a stylish chicken on top to help us determine which way the wind blows. Nice capture!
I've always loved rooster weather vanes, rooster plaques, rooster trays, rooster book covers but never actually owned any. This photo makes me remember why I was drawn to them but doesn't help me understand how I could hanker after them without acquiring them. I worked it off by giving roostery things to my mother.
Do people ever shovel the snow off their roofs? I like your bubbling water above. Happy RT! Thank you for peeking in on my dog's mess. :-) .. Oh yes, we have some snow here tonight, just north of Houston, Texas. ..
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
Cute silver detail make a great contrast with the red roof.
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture!

Love it, EG. the snow on the roof, the red chimney (?) and the red comb on the rooster is just the right touch. MB
ReplyDeleteIt would make me dizzy twirling around. We have had plenty of wind lately too.
ReplyDeleteHappy RT EG.

Does he go "Cock-a-doodle-do" when the wind hits him in the face? Great shot, EG!

He's great. I love that he has so much detail!
ReplyDeleteA unique little silver rooster atop his red domain!
ReplyDeleteHe looks quite puffed up and proud - reminds me of Foghorn Leghorn a bit :).
ReplyDeleteLove the little hint of red on the top of the roosters head (if I wasn't a city girl I would probably know what that red thing was called).
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!! Very unique!
