Playing in the Sand/ Watery Wednesday

Halfway between the North Pole and the Equator on Sunday afternoon, April 4

The weather  has been crazy - unseasonably warm.  Last weekend it was warm enough to play barefoot in the sand at this Georgian Bay (Lake Huron) beach...at least it was for this hardy kid!

  1. I went to summer camp right near there. That was a long time ago, probably before that lad's parents were born.

  2. It certainly was a very summery weeken, I don't remember it being so hot and sunny so early in the year . Last easter, we were still in coats and winter boots. This year it's tee shirts and sandals!

  4. Silly me, I would have thought halfway between NP and equator would have been much further south. I think we here in the States sometimes forgot how huge our great neighbor to the north is!
