Neat picture. It brings up two questions. Did the couple know you were photographing them? Were you standing in water? I'm thinking you were using a long lens and the answer to both is no. ???
Me again - Re your comments on Ocala DP - I knew it wasn't ivy, but "fern-ied" walls just didn't sound right...
Actually the wall faces south. I've been by this place many times and never noticed the greenery...it's an old building by our standards, but I can't imagine it's good for the brick to have that stuff growing in between them...
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.

ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteNo, they did not know. I prefer candid shots over staged ones. And I did zoom in on them. :)
I lived near the Wye Marsh for about 10 years of my life. If only I had seen a photo like this---I would actually have gone there.
ReplyDeleteI wonder were they boyfriend/girlfriend, just friends or what. They were probably discussing life and solving the world's problems....
ReplyDeleteOne could write a short story or novel based upon this photograph! What a delight. Takes me way, way back to my youth!
ReplyDeletePerfectly poignant!

ReplyDeleteThere must be a book that goes with this, I certainly feel a story here. Love the little detail of the tennis shoes sitting behind the people.

ReplyDeleteso peaceful. wonder what they are thinking?
ReplyDeleteAh, that looks relaxing. Like the sneakers on the dock and the feet dangling. Yes, the story could be on what they are discussing...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to sit for awhile! What a beautiful reflection that water holds...fabulous candid shot...that shows life as it really is.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'll get any such nice sensations if I let my legs dangle right now! Lovely shot!
