Hole in the Clouds/ Sky Watch

Sun shining like a spotlight onto field

Notice there are thick fluffy clouds everywhere  except for one big hole where the sun shone through creating  a circle of light on the farm field in the lower left.

  30. Mary,
It was an extraordinary morning because the light was incredibly beautiful. It looks blue in the distance because I was standing on a hill (you can see I was above the tops of the trees in front of the farmer's fields) and the distance is far, far away through haze.

However, I did lighten the photo a tad and I also sharpened it a bit.

Most of the photos I took that morning have faded blue in the distance. :)

  32. PS SOunds like you do have the green going strong in your town. That's great. We have a lot of similar things but not the public composting or chemical restrictions. They neighbors think I'm nuts weeding my lawn by hand. :)

  45. funny, I saw a hole too yesterday, one side was quite a square, but from the photo, it disappeared.

How's your weather? Getting warm now? We are freezing, and one ski filed is already opened. And this is just May!!!!!
