Near Port Cunnington, Ontario on Lake of Bays
On Sunday, we woke up to snow and overcast skies but by afternoon there were breaks in the clouds and the sun shone through.

I have enjoyed this series of shots. The colors in the sky and the water interrupted by the tree line is very pleasing to the eye. I can't believe the lavender that pops out.
ReplyDeleteLake of Bays is a great lake! This makes me long for the cottage even more. Haven't been up yet!
ReplyDeleteI agree, thank good ness that snow has gone. I don't want to see another snowflake for a VERY LONG TIME!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely view. I can just imagine myself down on the dock with a nice hot cuppa coffee, watching the water and listening to the birds.
We had the same weather here, and the past 2 nights the temp has been way below freezing and have probably lost our apples and many flowers.
ReplyDeleteLove this scene. I'd very much like to be out on that lake fishing right now! It's cold and raining here!
B.
I'd love to be sitting in a boat on that bay.

ReplyDeleteIf you want to freeze, come on over. Nice rain and winter coats.
ReplyDeleteThat little boathouse -or do you call it a cabin- is just so perfect. Do you know the French song "ma cabane au Canada"? That's what springs to mind!
This is a beautiful scene. I certainly hope you are finished with snow for this season!
ReplyDeleteSnow? How dare it? Another gorgeous lake shot...there is nothing like the northern lakes!
