Lake of Bays/Watery Wednesday

Near Port Cunnington, Ontario on Lake of Bays

On Sunday, we woke up to snow and overcast skies but by afternoon there were breaks in the clouds and the sun shone through.

  5. I have enjoyed this series of shots. The colors in the sky and the water interrupted by the tree line is very pleasing to the eye. I can't believe the lavender that pops out.

  7. I agree, thank good ness that snow has gone. I don't want to see another snowflake for a VERY LONG TIME!
That's a lovely view. I can just imagine myself down on the dock with a nice hot cuppa coffee, watching the water and listening to the birds.

  8. We had the same weather here, and the past 2 nights the temp has been way below freezing and have probably lost our apples and many flowers.
Love this scene. I'd very much like to be out on that lake fishing right now! It's cold and raining here!

  11. If you want to freeze, come on over. Nice rain and winter coats.

That little boathouse -or do you call it a cabin- is just so perfect. Do you know the French song "ma cabane au Canada"? That's what springs to mind!
