1930 Ford/ Window Views

1930 mint-green Ford

On a short holiday in Upstate New York a few weeks ago, we spotted this "dream car" sitting in a small parking lot in front of an ice cream place. Through the windshield, you can see the car's owner eating ice cream.

The owner graciously consented to let me take photos of his pride and joy.

Wouldn't you like to go for a drive and an ice cream in this neat car?

  1. Yes indeed, I want a ride. I have to find just the right period clothes to wear first.

  7. Dream car is right! Just beautiful! My first car was a 1937 Chevy (which I proceeded to customize) and my second was a 1950 Plymouth coupe - dark green with wood grain dash.

  10. That old car rocks. Surely not the original paint job, I'm guessing. And now I'm hungry for ice cream!

  12. Love to take that for a spin. And speaking of ice cream, I've always loved rocky road, which I haven't had in years.

About the feeders. I have several window feeders that stick on with suction cups. That might work for you.

  17. What fun a ride would be, not on too hot a day though since for sure there's no a/c in that baby. (That's the Israeli in me coming out.) I love the way you've framed the picket fence through the window in that first shot.
