These tracks are either traveling to or from this beautiful sky. I captured this early one evening while waiting for a train that never came (or went) around this curve while I was there.

A single railway track disappearing around a bend on such a lovely summer's day gives me itchy feet too. Delightful shot to start one daydreaming.

ReplyDeleteFrom where I took the photo, the train would be going to Toronto...then east to Halifax (Nova Scotia) or south to Chicago or Mississippi (Gulfport, I think) and somewhere in Louisiana or Texas. (I used to know, but have forgotten!)
