Cute, eh?
The only reason this chipmunk is staying put is because he/she is staying close to the bird feeder, staring me down, hoping I will blink first and go away.

he is so cute and your photo is fantastic. i do wish i had a lens for capturing wildlife....sigh.
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend.
You must have some tempting treats in that bird feeder to prompt Chippy to stand still. Our chipmunks take off as soon as they see a person. This is a great portrait of Chippy.
ReplyDeleteI adore chipmunks and they come and go in my neighborhood, depending on how the local cat population is doing. I've only seen one this year so far, but last year there were several!
ReplyDeleteI'll keep looking!
Cute...I don't see them here in the yard which is kind of surprising...
ReplyDeletewhat a great shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie :). There are no chipmunks here so whenever we go back to the States my kids are always utterly bewitched to see these actual wild animals running around right there for everyone to see LOL.

Hey, Charlie Chipmunk - it looks like you've got your QUOTA of sunflower seeds in your cheeks!
ReplyDeleteI'm so curious to know who's won the staring game!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you explained about the bird feeder as I have never seen one in a tree before, nice shot!
ReplyDeleteI've always liked chipmunks, but we don't have them down here (at least I've never seen one). This is a great shot and yes, I think he is staring you down!
ReplyDeleteO this little guy looks so cute! No spare seed for him????
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of this little scavenger.
ReplyDeleteHello there Chippy! Your cousin was living in my garden last year but I haven't seen him so far this year. Hope he's OK.
ReplyDeleteThis little fella is a camera friendly. It makes a good model.

How adorable, he/she must be thirsty, or may want to play with the birds. Great raw shot!
ReplyDeleteMy, what skinny long fingers he/she has. I wonder if he/she has ever played the piano! Oh, I guess it's only animated chipmunks that play musical instruments. Isn't it Alvin that plays a ukelele?
ReplyDeletehehehe It ain't so stupid!
ReplyDeleteIt looks cute...happy SOOC Sunday.
ReplyDeleteMine is here

ReplyDeleteCoincidentally on Friday a chipmunk was right outside the slider on the patio, a few feet from my desk. I had the camera right there but by the time I got ready to take a picture he skittered away.
I thought i was going to get a great photo, like yours!
Next time ...
