Alsike clover
Look closely and you can see that each "blossom" is actually a cluster of many tube-shaped flowers. Some at the bottom of this cluster are already fading while some at the top are opening out.

This one is definitely a keeper! Absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteI almost posted a similar shot, but yours is much more beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be on the look-out for this one.
ReplyDeleteAs a children my friends and I used to pull those little tubes out one by one and suck on the sweetness at the end of the tube.

Beautiful! I too tasted the sweetness of these flowers as a child!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous details!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen this particular brand of flower either. You have some very unique and beautiful flora in the northland!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala: Rooms To Go has all kinds of furniture...decent stuff at a reasonable price. They like to sell whole rooms, thus the name, but you can buy any piece individually if you wish.
No easy-to-assemble, though.
ha! Those are fantastic. I have a photo I'm planning to post of a similar sculpture I found at our local recycling center
ReplyDeleteOh meraviglioso!
ReplyDeleteI like clover. Not on my lawn, since it tries to overtake the grass, but out on a field somewhere, it is fine. The clover blossoms on my lawn are white. It's neat to see them with color like this.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first macro clover I have seen and I love it! I never really took a close look at one. They are pretty.
ReplyDeleteClover never looked so good. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the depth of field with this one.
