Cruising the Locks/ SOOC

Gamebridge Lock on the Trent-Severn Waterway

These two cruisers are slowly entering the lock before the gate closes and the lock fills with water to take them up to the higher level of water on the other side of the lock.

I liked that both of these boats had red roofs.

  1. I like the shots you take of life on the canals. They show me something I'm not familiar with: i grew up in central California where there are many irrigation canals, and many people here where I live have boats for water skiing or fishing, but using a canal to get from one place to another by water is out of my experience.

  13. Locks are interesting. At first I couldn't understand how it works but hubby patiently explained it to me and I get it eventually hehe! Happy Sunday!
