Cycling/ Outdoor Wednesday

Harbour at Beaverton, Ontario

The concrete breakwater in the harbour at Beaverton is a magnet for pedestrians and cyclists who want a better view of the harbour than they can get from the shore. It also attracts seagulls but they seem to have vanished...temporarily.

  2. Is there only railing on one side of that walkway? Or is it just me being vicariously scared?

  3. Darla,
Yes there's a railing on one side only. The breakwater is much wider than it appears in the photo, though.

  4. If the house wasn't there on the left i would think that was the Barnegat Lighthouse in New Jersey.

You feel like you are in the water when you go on those barriers.

  12. This looks like a wonderful place for a stroll, especially if there is a nice breeze coming off the lake.
